Sheena Vera Cruz is an Artist Development & Movement Coach, Choreographer and a host. While she was known as a professional dancer in streetdance and hiphop she is currently an ambassador and trainer for the Nike Women – Nike Training Club (NTC).
When She Started:
Originally, from Guam, she started her dance career in the Philippines in 2005 as one of the founding members of the world renowned Hiphop group the Philippine Allstars. Being an all around artist, her mission is to travel around the world to learn and teach the art of movement. Her passion in dance and culture lead her to work with highly accomplished artists. Sheena performed in concerts for many international artists such as the Pussy Cat Dolls, APL de Ap of Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Craig David and Ne-Yo.
As an Artist Development Coach
Sheena trains various artists and stage performers worldwide. Trained under her belt are artists such as the Malaysian R&B and Pop Super star/ and songwriter Mizz Nina; Beauty queen and Miss World Krista Kleiner; Rachel Razon , a famous indie R&B and pop artist In Los Angeles, California and Philippine’s actress turned singer Roxee B.
On TV/ Film and Hosting
When she’s not performing or teaching dance, Sheena is also a witty and spunky host. She hosted for both TV and live events and was even a radio DJ and hosted for Pacific Rim Productions in Las Vegas and the World Of Dance in New York City. She has an extensive experience being on TV commercials and various TV shows particularly the famous dance reality TV show called “Astro Battleground” and the “Dance Showdown” in 8TV, Malaysia as a TV personality and Judge. She was also part of the popular biggest race and reality TV Show worldwide the “Amazing Race” and The Discovery Channel’s travel series the “Philippine Insync”.
